About this game

Seven7s is a fast-playing card game for two to four players, by Jason Tagmire and is #7 in the E-G-G Series of small box games. It can be played in under 10 minutes and offers surprising depth for a small game. The goal of Seven7s is to have the most points at the end of the game, by having the highest total value cards in your hard when end game scoring is initiated. During the game, all players will together be working on building a community tableau with seven columns corresponding to the seven different types of cards in the game. There are 7 Ages of Man, 7 Colors of the Rainbow, 7 Deadly Sins, 7 Holy Virtues, 7 Lucky Gods, 7 Seas and the 7 Wonders of the World cards. Game-play is simple: from your hand of 3, you play a card (activating its power) to a common tableau, and draw a card. To begin, deal each player a starting hand of 3 cards, and place 1 card face up in the tableau to start the first column. On their turn, players will play a single card to the tableau, to a column that matches the card. If there is not already a column started for that type of card, the player starts a new column. Next, you will activate your played card’s ability and then draw back up to 3 cards. Each of the 7 different types of cards have unique abilities that offer lots of strategy and replayability. The game will end immediately when the seventh card of a column is played. This card will be played sideways and will count towards their hand at the end of the game for scoring. Whoever has the most points in their hand is the winner.
